Terracotta Dome Hides

Give your shy, nocturnal, or secretive pets the ultimate feeling of security! Crafted from high-grade natural terracotta (purple sand ceramic), these curved, single-entry Dome Caves provide maximum darkness and shelter to help reduce stress in your terrarium.

Terracotta naturally absorbs and retains moisture, making these enclosed hides an exceptional choice for creating humid micro-climates, shedding sanctuaries, or safe egg-laying sites.

Key Features & Highlights

• Maximum Security & Darkness: Single-entry dome architecture creates a dark, cozy retreat that shields shy reptiles and amphibians from external room activity.
• Supports Humidity & Shedding: Porous terracotta clay holds moisture when misted, maintaining a stable micro-climate inside the cave for smooth, problem-free shedding.
• Natural Terracotta Ceramic: High-fired, non-toxic clay construction that is 100% safe for humid tropical habitats and arid desert setups alike.
• Earthy & Naturalistic Aesthetic: Smooth, rounded clay profile blends effortlessly into soil, moss, sand, and bioactive setups.
• Hygienic & Easy to Clean: Non-porous enough to resist mold buildup; cleans up easily with warm water during routine tank maintenance.

Keeper's Note & Pro-Tip

Pro-Tip: Place a layer of damp sphagnum moss or moist paper towels inside the dome to create a dedicated "moist hide"! The curved dome roof locks in humidity, making it an essential tool for geckos, small snakes, and amphibians during their shed cycles.
